People on SD are way too serious these days. I recall in past years, there was a lot of sarcasm and most picked up on it.

a little OT, but what's the deal with seed oils? Are they good or are they bad?

I love my 12" cast iron skillet, I had it for a while. It makes the best fried chicken and fish and any other fried foods

Maybe, but it wasn't a _good_ joke and I know people who are that stupid about seed oils, so I'm comfortable mocking them.

That's an ancient practice. Beef tallow is all the rage these days.
I started to follow the Liver King and just place raw beef and raw liver on the pan and skip the cooking and eat it raw off the pan. Never had anything stick to my cast iron pan yet! LMAO

Have the 12" pan and love it. Prefer it over my lodge due to the larger handle.

I've also tried a Walmart cheapo cast iron pan and returned it. Poor cast quality with inconsistent pan thickness.

I fondly remember SlickDeals being funnier, too. I'm not sure what happened.

what is this? a pan for ants?

How can we be expected to teach children to learn how to cook... if they can't even hold the pan?

I have a lot of cast-iron pans. The 8 inch size is the most useful.I also have the 12 inch version of this Victoria pan .It's my favorite 12 inch cast iron pan.
