My Hisense that I bought like 5 years ago is power cycling -starting then restarting. This is a known issue and many people who have purchased Hisense tvs even higher priced new ones are complaining on Reddit about failure and defective TVs. These are rebranded Toshibas in some cases since they merged.

I have the 50" version of this model.
I like it, Use it every day for 3 years for a Roku.
For $200-500 more could get a tv with a much better picture but for under $300 would say this is the best.
Dont expect any TV to last 5 years or more. a $200 something tv or a $900 something tv.

Down voting because people don't want to pay more? That says a lot about the mindset of many.

You are on Slickdeals. The entire point of the site is to pay less.

FYI - This is not a 120 Hz refresh rate tv, it's actually a 60 Hz, check the walmart website and you'll see it in black and white. Poster made a mistake.

i have the 50inch which I got from Walmart for $130. For the price it is good. Even I have read reviews and these are not good for long term. If you are going to buy, maybe get the extended warranty from Walmart. The picture quality is good, Tav is bright but I wish it was more brighter. Good speakers and I/O. TV is very light weight so easy to assemble.

From the specs:

Motion Rate 120: Don't struggle to keep your eye on the ball—enjoy fast-paced sports, movies and 4K gaming without the lag. Featuring Motion Rate image processing technology, the R6 keeps the thrills coming by making it easy to follow fast-moving action.

motion rate and refresh rate are not the same, though they are related concepts. Refresh rate is the number of times a display updates the image on screen per second, measured in Hertz (Hz). Motion rate, on the other hand, is a marketing term, often used to describe a display's ability to simulate a higher refresh rate through frame interpolation or motion smoothing.

So to the viewer watching the TV may not be much difference in what you actually see on the screen.

I picked this TV two weeks ago and like it. What I am annoyed with is that it is stuck on Roku 14.5 for now. I am getting the black screen error when a scheduled program ends on a Roku streaming channel. I had a chat with Roku support and they said Hisense has not yet released the newest version yet, so I am stuck.

Bought this last year for about $20 more for a family member who needed tv on short notice. Have also used Hisense google tv and Hisense root for living room and bedroom TVs since 2018 and they've held up

Does anyone know the distance between the feet of this tv? Sorry, I looked and found no info about that. Need to know if it will fit on my TV table. Thanks

Don't have this specific model but 2 of my 55" Hisense Android TVs died about the same time. They lasted about 4 years.

Is it really 120hz? Can someone tell as there's been gimmicky stuff to call it that while being 60

We have this TV in our Airbnb apartment. Roku has an excellent guest mode that resets after a guest's checkout date that they enter the first time they turn it on.

It's a great TV for the purpose. I wouldn't use it for gaming, since it doesn't support 120 FPS, but for watching streaming content or Blu-rays/DVDs, it's perfect. Good color and contrast. Easy to navigate interface (never get an LG TV--that interface is horrible).

120hz typically refers to refresh rate not motion rate. I'd google for user feedback on how 120 motion rate really pans out to what you see on the screen. According to what I already posted, the average person's eye shouldn't be able to tell much of a difference. Technically speaking however, the refresh rate is indeed 60hz.

It is not. Motion rate is marketing lingo.
