I had this 49-in model, I recently passed it on to my son as I was able to get a deal on the G95SC 240mhz version because I upgraded to a 5090, however besides the refresh rate limit, both of these are equally stunning. I don't have a Costco near me but this seems like a very solid deal

Good price if you want this behemoth. Checked Samsung app, came in at 792 (not bothering to check coupon codes or anything)

Not sure what to think. Loved my 49" Samsung until it got the lines of death just to the left and right of center. Vowed to NEVER get another Samsung monitor since they don't back their items (monitor was a $1200 and only about 2 years old). This being Costco and 3 year warranty may be enough. I honestly want a 5k2k 40" or so (49" is so gigantic) but again, at this price point I'm not sure if I want to complain.

Dual QHD is a lot to push.

Not if you play with full res then it's like almost 4k 8.3 mill vs 7.3 mill (,this monitor). edit did you change the quoted comment

Got the new 27 4K oled, just wondering how do you play on this 49 half screen? Cause not all games support the format.

There will be black bars on the sides of games that don't support super ultra wide

I just upgraded to a 5090 too (from a 1080 ti) and want to get a new monitor that can handle its capabilities. Are you saying even this monitor not enough for the 5090's true power? LOL

Do you have any rough FPS numbers on how this monitor performs with a 5090 on some newish games?

You can run it with smaller resolution in the width direction. Will basically have black bars on the side like how tvs sometimes have with movies.

Dont think my 5080 can handle this

Guess that means my 4060 has no chance.

I have interest but my PC is a 4080 super. honestly, I think I would hate Ultra Wide, been eyeing a 32 inch qdoled otherwise. Would 3840 x 2160 on games that don't support uw give full res with just black bars? opinions, thoughts?

5080 or 5090 will not hit 240 on this monitor in most new games. This is a good monitor for those cards if you want the real-estate. I prefer it over 4k I find it more immersing.

could always manually set resolution on the certain game and use traditional reasonable aspect ratios like 16:10 and not care about width unless you want to just split windows and multitask on the area that would then be black
