The Amazon price is also highly inflated. I want to say $25 is normal for this.

Definitely not originally $70, I bought the version with the driver handle for much less than that.

Amazon's [amazon.com] price is currently $35.51, so the Lowe's price of $19.98 seems like a deal to me.

How many things have you worked on lately that were SAE? Metric? Notice these sales only have the SAE and not their metric sets. I got this instead $20 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D18Y7...e_0_0&th=1 but only the 1 socket version 8 10 $10 then this to help round out the hex sockets $9 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CNK57...in_title_1

Ok, this one has me a bit mystified...can't realistically see a use case for this? Maybe keeping one thing in the glovebox of your car rather than multiple sockets?

Yet it seems to me the additional length would be a detriment in many real world situations (kind of like only having a set of deep well sockets). And if you had any flange bolts, well...it'd only work half the time...

Plus will these still work well once they've experienced a bit of dirt / grit / grime?

Would love to hear from someone who owns these...

You're clearly not in the trades. Everything is SAE in electrical

This is an electrician's tool. Not really for other uses. The sizes are the common sizes used in the trades.

Why would an electrician use impact tools?

I have been working on cars motorcycles and other things for 50+ years. I do some plumbing and electrical but socket use seems limited when I do those. IKEA furniture and around the house furniture is another common use for most of us. This might work well for 1% of people as well as on antique cars and tractors.
