computer case fan only blows out hot air if you install it correctly. and its not portable.

Best part it's portable and you can take it with you on a cruise and use it while standing outside on the ship where more than likely the wind is blowing...

I can't speak to this fan but I love the Diveblues fan. I keep one at work and I even bought a second one to have when working remotely in a hot environment. I got them when they were on sale for $10 though, I wouldn't pay the normal $18 for them.

There's a huge difference. I bought another rechargeable one a few years ago. These little units move a decent amount of air. It's enough to cool you down on a warm day. I brought it to Tokyo with me and just a little bit of moving air made the cramped room I had much more bearable.

I own a portable fan that is the same size just different design. my office gets to about ~82-86F during the hottest summer days and even with that kind of high ambient temperature, these little portable fans push enough "warm" air that you definitely do feel a difference. is it game changing? no. will it feel like an AC blowing on you? no. but is it better than sitting at the desk without the fan? 10000% yes. and for the ~$10 price point, it is a no brainer imho. i am about to pull the trigger on this one just so i don't ever have to not have a fan when i have to recharge their batteries. $20 investment to keep my hands + face somewhat cool whilst working at the desk during the 6-8 weeks of summer weather is worth it.
