there needs to be restrictions on whats used to make products today. all we do is produce single use plastic, none of the big companies selling plastic are responsible, and everything goes in a landfill. should be illegal to make things that charge batteries but cannot work plugged directly into a wall once the battery goes.

Don't do it. Bought two on clearance at Walmart for $10 each with filters. Filters last about a month, then fail quickly and let particles back in the water. The water will taste acidic. The total dissolved solids went from 0 to over 500 ppm quickly. Our tap water is around 200 ppm. Culligan bought Zero water, and their filters are now said to last 2 weeks. This company won't last long if they don't figure out their filters.

Filter life is totally dependent on the hardness of your water. Mine's crazy hard (I'm in SoCal) and yeah, the filters last a couple weeks. They did before Culligan bought it, too. That hasn't changed. It's not for everyone, but they're great for me.

Just more plastic throw-away junk that will be "recycled" only to be shipped to India and dropped in the ocean anyway.

These are incredible, been using it for years. Don't know what the above posters are talking about. Get two, so you can keep two filled.

The filters are $10 each on sale and do last about a month, true, but they do a very good job. What filter lasts forever?

How much water are you drinking per day on average as $10 per month for a filter is a bit pricey? Wondering if I drank less than a gallon per day if it would last me a lot longer than a month?

All depends on quality of water. In NY these lasted me 2-3 months... down south , I'll be lucky if I get 3 weeks

Not sure what the above poster was doing with the filter but I've been using a zero pitcher about 6 years now. I drink a LOT of water between coffees and teas and about a gallon a day or just water. We get between 2.5-4 months out of a filter. And the tds doesn't go above about 20 at that time. Nothing comes back into the water. The only downside really is the throughput slows and that pretty much tells me it's time for a new filter and we're back to filter the entire pitcher in about 10 min. Filters aren't cheap but are about $10 per when bought in 4-6 packs from AMZN or WMT. I find that pretty decent value to make the water taste quite a bit better than the tap.

Been using my 1st filter for about 3 months now. Probably only use about 32 ounces and a day (on average) and water is about 240. Still at .000.

Wild take. Compared to Brita (which is what would be comparable), this is significantly better. My tap is around 300 tds, Brita filters remain at 300 tds while these actually take it to zero. Yes, when it starts to 'fail' the tds goes up quickly, but what do you expect? If you are comparing this to a true RO multi stage setup, than sure... But that's comparing apples to oranges.

You guys are getting a couple weeks or a month from your filters!? Do you live alone? Never drink water? Mine last 8 days max.

Zerowater is mandatory for my household. What's the alternative? Bottled water? I just buy a years supply when they're on sale for $8-$10.

I have this and I live in an apartment. For drinking it does a great job getting rid of so much to bring down to 0. However, they last for me about for 1 month. I live in SoCal with a tds of 300 roughly, and drink about 2 liters a day. You'll start noticing it goes bad when it has this "fishy" smell and it also taste "sour" slowly, that's when you have to change it. Buy a cheap meter to measure and see after 2-3 weeks. If you are more hands on, I would recommend getting an APEC reverse osmosis set up and you change out the varying filters once every year to 3 years.
