My experience with one of these metal jacketed hoses has been nothing but positive. I find mine has enough resistance to kinking that as long as I don't pull hard on a tangle it holds up really well and doesn't kink at all during normal usage. So, don't abuse it and it will be great. It's easy to coil up on my hose hanger as well.
Mine is a different brand, but I assume it's about the same.

The one I had lasted a little over a year, not bad really for this price.
I found Giraffe Hose[amazon.com] and it has been absolutely amazing. Great company too, the first hose started leaking at the connection and they sent a new one. No return or anything. Got those in 2022 and still using them today.
