This has the cheap aluminum ends. They will corrode and weld themselves onto anything you leave attached.
Brass has been the standard forever for a reason.
This will be great to replace some Aqua Joe hose stands I got where the hose leads leak after a couple months. I laughed off reviews initially that they would fail so quickly, they just explode and are useless without a hose lead.
Can anyone tell me what reasons and uses they have for 3 ft lead in hoses
ah I guess maybe for hose reels
The spiral hose that I bought to use from my bathroom sink to my porch included a short section of straight hose. Attachments wouldn't seal well and it leaked, so I switched to one of these with better quality connections.

We were at a campground a couple weeks ago with water spigots but they outfitted them with bibs that spray water all over the place. I think this is to prevent people from washing dishes as these are designated refill stations. I realized a short lead in hose would likely make life much easier for things like this
