Heads up, has the Phison E18 that had an issue that was solved sometime last year. Unsure if this drive had the issue or has an updated firmware to solve the issue otherwise, this is a good performing drive. Installed in a build in 2023 and haven't had any issues thus far

Any updated firmware since then? If confirmed E18 controller that means this drive does have DRAM. Great price for 2tb

I would contact inland directly to see if it is/was an issue and if a firmware update fixed it. Otherwise, gotta go off of reviews

Yes, shows it in the product image too so should fit straight in there

Bought and returned a different Inland drive do to no software/firmware support.
Unless things changed, can't recommend.

Had the 4tb and 2tb versions, they failed after about 3 years in the worst possible way; kept on reporting speeds were normal on crystal disk tests / io speeds/ etc but in actuality were operating at about 1/200th speed.

By the time I copped on to how they were screwing up, I realized they had been the root of over a year of a slew of undiagnosed issues on my rig.

Will never buy Inland again. Better a drive break fully than break undetected like these did.

The only positive is after a 3.5 hour round trip up to the Boston Microcenter and an hour of haggling with the store manager, I got store credit for both drives. About had a stroke in that return process though.
