It's funny but I was eyeing this up in 2023 and it was $1k retail then not on sale! Then I watched that price slowly creep up to $1.2k and now it's $1.5k when it's not on sale?? Ridiculous!

I researched the $200-$1000 machines quite heavily. Breville came out way on top. $1K is a lot of $, but this machine is well worth it if you're serious about wanting quality espresso drinks and you're going to buy freshly roasted beans (not from the grocery store). A lot of great tips can be found in YouTube videos if you're new to the scene.

nit: this "impress" model is a relatively new one, not the same as touch model from 2023. AFAIK that model is still $1000 retail, and often on sale around $800. Having said that, I agree it is still a $500 price hike for a new added feature on basically the same model.

Great deal, the best it has ever been. It was at this price once in Feb this year. I missed buying it then. Finally got it brand new on FB marketplace for 1k since I couldn't afford full price. It's incredible. I now know what I was missing using a regular drip coffee machine. Since I used to use ground coffee, the difference is immense. I can feel that the coffee I am drinking is not acidic like it used to be anymore. Highly recommend if you can shell out. Same price at BB btw.
