Any other noticeable improvement over Gen 1 besides the fit? I love my Gen 1s and they fit fine, so not sure if I should bite.

Got a mouse (ergo, those get returned a lot) and it had enough scratches on the bottom to suggest many weeks of use. Got a mechanics stool and the red pleather was coated in black repair station dust. You know the stuff. It's on everything in every bay in a service station. Old dried oil mixed with dirt.

Good to know. Guess I'll pass. It's been awhile but like new for me has always been new but repackaged
No, I just replaced my gen 1 and I don't notice any improvements with gen 2. I was using a set of Sony WF-1000XM5 earbuds which have much better sound quietly and noise cancelling but are absolutely horrible for phone calls. I switched back to the Pixels Buds because they perform best for phone calls. I just have to use a boost app for some audio I can't hear.

Have you tried using the memory foam ear tips?
