I got the refurbished of this on a certain huge auction site(we all know but I won't say to avoid getting comment removed) for 1499 free ship.

It showed up in a few days and was in excellent clearly unused condition. My guess is they wanted to move a lot of these without upsetting what the normal price is so they slapped "refurbished" on there.

My only complaint so far is I do NOT trust the carry handle. This thing is super heavy and I feel like the carry handle should be on a luggage suitcase, not this monster. Very thin aluminum.

Does anyone have any experience with this brand? Seems like a great deal, but I know there are more well known brands.

Can you email me the auction website please. Let me know if you can. I'll send you the email once you reply.

tax credit is 30% for anything over 3000 Watts plus any associated install, wiring costs.

Oupes is a newcomer in the industry. It seems they have been offering huge discounts during their introductory period. Yet, the quality of their products are above other subpar brands. I recently purchased their Exodus 1500 and very happy with the build quality and performance. Of course there are rooms for improvements, but for the price I paid I am 100% satisfied. Oupes will soon become a big competitor to Ecoflow and Bluetti I would say.

it seems the auction option is listed as refurbished and would not qualify for the tax credit.

Thoughts on this versus a full diy system for running a home lab? Would be easier to swap out batteries on a diy system when those go bad but that wouldn't be for a few years ideally.

is there some contagious brain rot going around? it takes 10 seconds to find this and another dozen oupes refurbished deals on ebay.
i also would love to hear thoughts on if i will be able to apply the tax credit, does it not apply to 'refurb', etc
