I have had my R3 and R7 for several years now, and they have been effective in creating more situational awareness. I do not own these because I speed. Instead, they help me avoid unnecessary interactions with the police. Driving is complex, and sometimes you need to speed up to overtake or avoid situations altogether. Or the opposite is true, driving conditions change, and speed limits drop. These bring back my focus during long drives and help me make decisions and adjust behavior as necessary.
