Black: Fabric type 86% cotton, 13% polyester, 1% spandex

White: Fabric type 56% Polyester, 43% Cotton, 1% Spandex

Thanks for posting the composition. Weird in that they're marketed together but aren't made the same.

Not even close. I find that the polyester socks are kind of slippery and really try to avoid ones like the white ones. Which is what I was looking for...

goldtoe crew socks are at historic lows,
2x6 pairs would be ~$27 now
you are paying a quality premium over hanes.

Lots of reviews say these are NOT 86% cotton as stated on Amazon, even for the black ones. Only 33% cotton, and they are low quality knock offs different from what you get from physical retail stores.

86 is likely a typo.
8 is just above 5 on numeric KBD.
