Same price at Eufy official website. Heard a lot about these new locks, anyone have experience with them?

I think lockin is better and cheaper but battery doesn't last long. They do offer spare batteries to make swapping easy.https://a.co/d/5IFyJD6https://a.co/d/1l4tL9b

I have a Eufy door cam and a flood light cam. Fantastic products and fast alerts. 99% up time (at least for me).

I reviewed this for Best Buy and here was my conclusion:

Overall, I like the Familock S3 Max. It does what I need, unlocks more reliably than fingerprint sensors, and it does it stylishly. However, I do think some improvements could be made to make the camera view a bit more forgiving for those with deeper door frames, as nearly half of my view is blocked by my door frame, and night vision is subsequently rendered unusable. For those without a deeper door frame, there really isn't much to complain about. But for those of us with deeper frames, it feels like a bit of a missed opportunity for innovation from Eufy. But I feel the vast majority of owners of this new platform will be satisfied with the results.

If you want to read my detailed full review on their website, it's titled "Better Than Fingerprint Locks"

Nice!!! I have been waiting for a sale on this specific camera. Pretty much all the reviews have been good for the most part. Thank you OP.

For those that already have a doorbell and don't need a battery draining camera, they came out with a simplified version that still uses the vein recognition tech. Glad I waited!

If one is in the iPhone ecosystem, why would you buy this over a lock that offers Apple home key? Genuinely curious as I am in the market for a smart lock.

Cool and gimmicky, but ill just stick with my $35 none smart or internet connected finger print reader lock with great battery life. These locks are priced to the high heavens....

Q: Is Smart Lock C220 compatible with eufy ecosystem, Apple HomeKit, IFTTT, or Matter?
A: It works with eufy doorbell. However, It's NOT compatible with Apple HomeKit, IFTTT, or Matter yet.Neither does it work with eufy HomeBase or any wifi bridge.

I'd normally go with a no on this one, however I did find this alpha release of an HA integration:
https://github.com/fuatakgun/eufy_security
with the C220 on the compatible list:
https://bropat.github.io/eufy-sec...ed_devices

May grab one or two
