It's been that way for quite a while. Cheaper than Amazon, but you have to get your own monitor, keyboard, and mouse which Apple charges a premium on their products. I visited Micro Center earlier, seen the Mac Mini, and grabbed it with my hands. It was no bigger than my hand and smaller than previous versions of the Mac Mini.

Agree - the last time it was shared was early May so wanted to make sure no one paid $600 for it

I'd rather get my own peripherals than Apple's TBH, especially with the PC at this price

yes you can. you got 2 options. buy 1 or 2TB nvme drive from Amazon (there's one specifically for the Mac mini) and then install it. or you can buy one of those docking systems where the Mac mini sits on top and there's hub below that has a separate drive and USB ports.

You can but because Apple has to be Apple, the m2 SSD isn't exactly the same. As someone mentioned, there are specific M4 ones. There's a link for a 2 TB at the bottom comments but it's $320. I think that if you want more storage, the easiest way is the docked option but at least it's not soldered this time.
