GE makes one like this that has a factory flaw as well. Lint gets by the primary filter and sticks to the coils.
I think the only quality AIO units are $2k plus.
However for all in ones, I have read Samsung (or LG) is good.

With that said, I absolutely love my unit but it's not for everyone. Here is a list of pros and cons that I've encountered:
Pros:
1) No swapping cloths from the washer to the dryer. You can put a load of laundry in right before you go to bed and it will be done when you wake up.
2) The laundry soap dispenser is a nice touch. It has 2 reservoirs you can use to put detergent and fabric softener or another detergent. You just pour the liquid in and the machine decides how much to dispense. Through the years I've probably been using too much detergent and haven't noticed until now when the detergent seems to last forever.
3) It seems to be less harsh on clothing. I have the ventless heat pump version and I notice a lot less lint on the filter than my old dryer. Colors don't seem to fade as much as my old units
4) I have a lot less worry about mildew building up. Unlike a washer where you have to leave it open to air out, this unit drys all the excess air out during the drying cycle. Even then, it does have an auto open door feature that when it's done, will open the door and let it further dry out.
5) Saves space in the laundry room. I now have extra space to put cleaning supplies and such
6) The app is handy. It alerts you of when the washing cycle ends and when drying is finished. It will even let you know how often you used the machine, how much water you used as well as electricity. The app also reminds you of any maintenance that needs to be done.
7) My unit is ventless (which is also on sale). In my house, the outdoor vent is about 15-20 feet away from from the dryer and goes up the wall and takes a couple of 90 degree turns. Because of this, lint builds up easily in the vent and the dryer doesn't work as well as it should. I usually had to dry my cloths twice for 90 min each time. This AIO saved me a bunch of time.
8) Not really a big deal for me but might for some other people. For the ventless version, it uses a single 120v outlet. No need for a special 220v outlet for the dryer.
Cons:
1) If you do a lot of laundry, or have laundry days where you have to do 4 or 5 loads, I would probably stay away from this. It saves a lot of time moving the cloths from a washer to a dryer and start a second load washing while the first is drying. This unit would almost double the amount of time it takes to do laundry.
2) Speaking of time, washing and drying do take a bit longer than in a conventional setup for most people. Keep in mind, I have the ventless version and not sure if the vented version is the same.
3) These units require a bit more maintenance than a traditional version. The lint filter is on my old unit took about 15 seconds to clean off whereas this one takes me a couple min to get it clean. Every now and then, there is a drain plug by the laundry dispenser that needs cleaned out as well. Youtubers also recommend getting a vacuum attachment that allows you to clean out the area where the lint filter goes in because getting lint on the coils can cause issues for the ventless version. I'm not sure about the vented version.
4) This thing is HEAVY. Keep that in mind should you think you'll need to be moving it.
5) Do you like instructions? That's too bad. The only ones you'll get with this are generic. Most of the stuff you need to know, you'll learn while doing research on if you should buy this unit or if something goes wrong and you get an error and you have to look it up to see how to fix it. I kept getting an error that the coil cleaning could not be completed after the wash cycle and the fix was that the Costco team put the drain hose clear down the drain pipe instead of just 6 inches in. Once I pulled it out to the right length, it worked great.
With all of that said, I'd buy this unit again if given the choice. I absolutely love it and how it works. I know some people complain about damp cloths after drying but I have never had that issue. One thing I do absolutely recommend if you purchase this is to get the stand that comes optional with it. Yes it does run $250 extra but it is so worth it if you have the room. It lifts up the drum making it much more accessible so you don't have to bend all the way down and it even serves as some extra storage space. It also makes it easier for cleaning out the drain plug and filling the laundry detergent. If you get it from Costco when you purchase the unit, the installation team will put it on for you. If you decide to try the unit without and then buy it later separately, you'll have to install it and did I mention this unit is HEAVY?
I love the machine and the $99 5 yr warranty gave me some peace of mind. It was about $1700 with the warranty and tax, and you can't get a pair of units for much cheaper.

I was leaning toward the vented model, but I ordered my ventless unit while watching his live stream. The ventless unit uses far less power and does not pull the conditioned air from your house and send it out the dryer vent. YMMV depending on needs, but I will never go back to a vented dryer.
