Has anyone used this version of the NARWAL? I have an older version that was top rated by Consumer Reports. I love it. The older version uses a bottle of cleanser that lasts me almost 2 years. This newer one apparently uses cleansing tablets which I am suspicious of. But it does have the benefit of compressing the dust bin.

Reviews indicate issues with mopping.

Customer reviews show 4.3 out of 5 stars, of which only 11-15% are bad or questionable reviews. That doesn't seem too bad to me.

I only read the negative reviews (3 star or lower). The positive ones tend to be fake to inflate the average score, especially on Amazon. The vast majority of these mopping vacuums suck because they eventually leak water all over your floor or wet your carpets. Best to stick with a good vacuum from a reputable brand.

To me the whole point of these robots is to automate cleaning, and a robot that doesn't empty itself is a deal breaker for me, especially because you can find others at this price range that will do that.
It also doesn't have an internal water tank, so it will need to come back to the dock over and over to re-wet and clean the mop heads.
To me this defeats the purpose of a robot vacuum.
