Those in app things are never 40% off. look closely. They are sometimes a 40% bonus on cash. Which really equates to a 28% discount. Don't get fooled! Clever marketing for sure.

In the Inkind app, they have these reoccurring promotions to buy credit (like gift card value) at 40% off but starts at like $250+ so this Costco deal is pretty good for 35% off at this lower $100 value

Hm so this is a cashback app is specifically for restaurants but instead of cash back, you get Inkind "cash". Then you use that "cash" for other restaurants in the app.

Is it possible to cash out like normal cashback sites?

Bummer. The last Costco InKind deal was $100 for $60 (aka 40% off). I bought six of those and I guess I should've bought more.

No. It's not a cashback app.

"InKind Cash" can only be used at member restaurants.

Cashback don't work either if you're using the GC credits too

That's a great point we shouldn't miss. So it's not 35% off vs. full price. It's 35% off vs. 20% point stack. the deal does not mean 35% less cost.

Lots of good info in previous thread - https://dealquestnow.online/f/18066475-costco-members-100-inkind-1500-restaurant-brands-egift-card-email-delivery-60?src=SiteSearch

Make sure any new users get a r -e -f -e -r -r -a -l as you can get $25 off $50 which can be stacked with these gift cards.

There are multiple ways to use this, but the easiest is to just buy credit with these gift card deals and stack with coupons that you can get per above or sometimes they will send them to you or certain restaurants have them when you go to their website like this restaurant - https://cheekytikikona.com/

Technically isn't it free $35? Spend 100 and get it only for 65. The previous deal was $60 for $100.

Yes it's still better than a regular point back.
(1) spend $65, get $13 credit (20%) for next use
(2) spend $65, get bonus $35 that we can use at the same time

i just meant that it's not pure 35% bonus; we lose future $13. but again. still better than just a regular point back.

There was a previous Costco deal of $60 for $100 then an InKind app deal for Mother's Day for 40% off. Then last week, there was an InKind app deal for Sumer Savings for 35% off. Now Costco dropped to $35 off as well. Hmmm, I'm seeing a trend here and it's not good for us.

i prefer $100 at a time b/c it's so hard using up credit unless you eat out at their network all the time

I have read their terms a bit, but roughly is this the workflow?

Eat at a place and get the bill
Bill has a number on it
Enter the number in the app to pay your bill

For tipping, do you tip in the app, or in cash?

Thanks.

I have $540 of credit left. Used it for several months for our family to go out to one of our favorite restaurants ... we were able to go every week due to the large discounted gift cards and in app purchases. Suddenly last week the restaurant no longer accepted payment with inKind. Now there are no other places within 30 miles at all, and none I would want to go to within 50 miles.

Just beware this unsustainable business model could collapse altogether.
