This specific configuration was:
HP Omen Max Gaming Laptop: 16" QHD+ IPS 2560x1600 240Hz, Intel Ultra 9 275HX, 32GB Ram, 1TB SSD, RTX 5090 $2367.99
Not $400 cheaper with just 16GB Ram. That has 1080p display, 16GB Ram and 512GB SSD @ $2151.99

300 bucks for double the ram, double the SSD and higher resolution screen seems well worth it for a laptop covered under warranty.

I know, you asked for the link, I provided it.
That being said, this very configuration was still almost $100 cheaper not even a complete week ago. To repost it with a higher price merely just days apart, isn't much of a deal compared to that.
Also, 5080 with the same configuration is still very cheap and certainly doesn't justify the significant price jump for a not so significant GPU difference.

If you are after a gaming laptop, this is better. So, entirely dependent on your usecases.

Unless your priorities are productivity on the go, I would get this. The MacBooks are basically iPad hardware with MacOS installed. The battery life will be super long, but you won't be gaming.

Depends what you are using it for. Can't play most top video games on the MacBook.
