I finally pulled the trigger on this. I'm coming from a Fenix 6. I decided on the Epix because of the screen. Amazon has the Fenix 7x pro solar for $599 at the moment. I feel the solar is gimmicky especially when these watches will go 2 weeks between charges.

Is that pretty much the big difference between the two? I also really like the look of the screen on the Epix and I'm ready to pull the trigger. I'm coming from a Garmin instinct ha ha

My Fenix 6 has been great but the screen color is poor. I've been back and forth between Epix 2 and fenix7x pro. I wanted the better screen on the Epix. I don't think I'd ever be outside enough for the Fenix solar. The contrast on the Epix screen blows the Fenix away

I'm outside all the time, but since that's not a primary way for that watch to get power I'm not really worried about solar. Also as you know his watches get very good battery life

I've been watching these for a while. I'm in at this price point. Good find.

I only see a 15% coupon in target circle. Perhaps it also included the 5% target card discount but that doesn't really add up to 20%. I thought price matching didn't include target circle coupons so please share how to do this.

As a epic gen 2 owner for the last two years, something to keep in mind, while this is a fantastic fitness watch, and does get the advertised always on screen battery life. The processor used on this watches are extremely slow. Which is kind of difficult to describe when you have big beautiful watch faces and you expect do more with it, such as use it for navigation when hiking. The processor was developed for the mips display that has half the resolution. So when you panning the map or moving the map, expect contents take seconds to fill. When you have to type in your password to use mobile payments, expect the screen registration is slower than your finger tap. I think I'm speaking pretty fairly that even my very first Android watch from about 10 years ago has a faster processor. You just have to set the expectation right.

Target has a 20% coupon for teachers and/or students every year. That's on top of the 5% target circle but it's YMMV

Neither... Try Amazfit T-Rex 2 or T-Rex 3.
Or the Balance 2 which looks more like a smartwatch. 299 on Amazon but you can get a 15% off coupon for AmazFit and 10.5% cash back if you Google it.
If you golf the AmazFit might be worth it. They have free maps for 40k golf courses.

Yes, but how were you able to stack with the price match? it comes out to $605 for me at target.
