Quote from rhapcity : Opinions on this vs Jackery? Which Jackery? Brand wise they're comparable. The best way to compare them is divide the price by watt hours. Then make sure the stats on the cheaper one (ports, input solar power, power output and surge power output, etc.) fit your needs. The only brands I might prefer if cost is similar are Ecoflow and Anker appear polished and have the best ratings (and many more reviews). App Store ratings are: 1. Jackery: 2.3 2. Bluetti: 4.3 3. Ecoflow: 4.6 4. Anker: 4.7Also, I'd want to save a fair bit to buy anywhere that isn't easy to return them. They're non-returnable from Anazon.

Compare to jackery 1000 v2, both 1kwh.

Jackery 1000 v2 can only output 1500w
While this one can output 1800w.
300w difference.

I have every size power station you can imagine but I was intrigue by the Pecro E1000 because its highly portable and it can do a full 20a on the solar input even at 12v.
I like to carry a PS around that can run everything(1500w+) but small capacity because I can bring a 12v battery if I need the extra capacity which is why the high transfer rate is important.
The Pecron E1000lfp has been my top 1500w+/1000wh highly portable power station because of this but I think this Bluetti 100 V2 is the new king at this price of $379.
This is an introductory price as it will ship end of July and the normal price is $599 I think.
I think Bluetti has a function in the app where to can get the full 20a at 12v. I thin HoboTech got around 230w.
If I can verify that it can do 230w on 12v, I will get one. Was going to get the Pecron E1000 but I hate their support.
I think Bluetti has the edge right now with their introductory price.

Both the Pecron E1000lfp and the Bluetti 100 V2 can be bought for $379 right now.
The Pecron has these advantages.
- $379 TOTAL no taxes on Pecron site. Bluetti will be ~$410.
- Solar port can be charged at 20a. 12v battery will charge the unit ~265w. The 100v2 might allow 20a at 12v. Need confirmation.
- Has expandable port.
- Has DC output at 20 amps.
- Can warm the battery.
The Bluetti has these advantages.
- Battery user capacity. ~930w vs 880w for Pecron
- Smaller in size and weight. 25lbs vs 29lbs. Every lbs helps.
- Better warranty 5 yrs vs 3 yrs.
- Higher charging for AC and Solar.
- Better CS support. I haven't had to use Bluetti but I have used Pecron and Pecron is horrendous. Bluetti can't be worst.

I purchased the Jackery E1000 Plus (not the V2) plus the 100W solar panel about 2 months ago from Costco for $649+tax and I loved it.
https://www.costco.com/Jackery-10...32211.html

However this is 5lbs lighter and smaller in all ways. Also the inputs for the Jackery are on the back which is annoying when plugging in. Takes up more space. Jackery most likely has slower solar charging speeds as well as it uses proprietary solar panel inputs. This ones a no Brainer upgrade for me.

edit*: Jacker E1000 Plus can expand 2 or 3x. I dont believe this Bluetti is expandable

Good points!! I purchased from Bluetti directly to only save an additional $20. But imagine if something goes wrong and I need to return it. If im going to cancel and switch to Amazon, now is the time.

The only reason I would not buy this is, in the review, it could not handle a 5000 btu air conditioner.

Bluetti should go back to the 2-tone color scheme on their power stations. 😃

Ship date is August 21. I went to cancel and Amazon is telling me the order was sent to seller for fulfillment, and they sent a notice to seller for a cancellation request but no guarantee.

I can just plug a solar panel into this thing and it's just... free power? I thought lots of electronics were required. Seems too good to be true.

Just keep in mind that full refund does not equal free returns. I don't know about the others, but Bluetti will accept returns, but you will need to ship it back to them on your dime.
