Wish this deal had been around when I had to drill through concrete a couple weeks ago! I don't know about $68, but I did spend over $40 for a 1"x15" masonry bit.

I assume this is good enough for exterior stucco? Planning to install some exterior lights so 1" might be overkill...

I really like Bosch hammer bits. Project farm did a thorough test and the Bosch were not top but for the price, were well rated. They seem to last longer than other brands for me.

I don't think so. This is SDS Max. It's made for concrete. It'll probably cause a lot of stucco damage.

I have a 1 3/4" SDS Max bit. I wish I'd bought a 2". I'm struggling to think of times where a 1" bit will be useful for me. I'd have to want to put just a 1" hole, which means a <1" pipe through concrete. That's not a lot of pipe.

Thanks for mentioning it. Was ready to pull the trigger. Totally missed that.

It looks like an SDS-max bit which is 18mm diameter. SDS-plus is only 10mm so they are not compatible.

How about installing 3/4" or 7/8" all thread as anchor stud bolts. I just finished epoxying in a bunch of those.
