Times were so much simpler back then, now it's AIO 240 to 320 Water cooling in almost everything.

The price of progress. These are a pretty effective but cheap solution for anyone doing a DIY build without a boxed CPU / OEM cooler, or upgrading a prebuilt.

It's about 1/2 in too tall for the Pavilions unless you leave the side cover off. There are also dozens of this style cooler on amazon for the around the same price. The Assassin being the best seller.

Yeah I noticed that this one is about 6" tall, definitely a no go on all but the widest cases. Thanks for sharing other options.

Also happens with clearance items that are being discontinued or replaced with a newer version. Based on the overall excellent reviews on these I wouldn't expect any issues.

It's like I mentioned earlier, there's just too many in this size / price range. And no one was paying $30 for it.
