I saw this too, objectively a decent option or good for extra room.

If I was putting in my main tv watching room, I would get a mini led.

In best buy , this model side by side a Roku pro sealed deal for me. Roku pro was much brighter, sharper, viewing angles, etc.

This compared to other options...a good 65" mini led is only like $100.

A good 75" mini led is only $300ish more...depending on model/store/discounts.

Im feeling regret. But I shouldn't. August of last year I got the 75" TCL Q6 for 479. At the time the Q7 fluctuated around maybe 850 to over 1000. I couldn't justify the additional cost at the time. But dang here we are just pennies more now lol for a much better TV.

I think the QD7 is an IPS panel which won't give you the brightness and contrast, and also has no local dimming if I remember correctly. $500 is a pretty good price for any qled TV at this size, so while certainly not a bad deal, it's not as good as this TCL, by quite a lot.

It's the exact same TV. There's no special features. There are reasons WHY Costco requests their own version and it's to benefit them not the customer.

I thought the Q77k was slightly less specs than the Q7?

I'm getting my deliver of the 65" Q77k next weekend.

The Q77K series is NOT the same TV. The 2025 Q77K series doesn't have local dimming... it's essentially an updated version of he 2024 Q6 series.
