IMO no real reason to get this over the 85" QN90C available for $1399 at Best Buy

Who makes the qn9dc model? These 85-in just keep getting cheaper and cheaper. I'm hoping to pick up a mini LED for around 1200.

Grabbed this open box for $1,270 out the door. Fantastic TV, watching The Wiz in 4k on it right now

The QN90C doesn't support Dolby Vision or DTS, while the QM8 does. The QM8 also has better contrast and motion handling. The biggest reason someone would want the QM8 over the QN90C is because the QM8 is MUCH brighter than the Samsung, so it's a much better option for rooms with a lot of natural light. The QM8 has 5,000 nits peak brightness, while the QN90C is 1,700 nits peak brightness. The QN90C is still plenty bright enough for most people, but the QM8 will still have better highlights, etc in HDR. It's objectively a better TV.

Been waiting for a deal on this for so long... very tempted to pull the trigger. Will it go lower?
