I bought four of these last time it went on sale. Very happy with them. Some commenters asked if they could be connected, and another commenter recommended calling Gladiator and buying pieces P5 and P6. This is not necessary. I was able to connect two units with 1/4 in - 20 x 1 1/4 in machine screws and nuts (search item # 237 at Lowe's). The racks are very sturdy and I have no concerns about their integrity.

I have these and the only concerning part to me are the down comers. They are flimsy if moved horizontally. I installed them 3 years ago and it hasn't been an issue so I think it's an irrational fear I had.
I did have less room than what I had thought originally. It turns out my plumbing from the second story is ran randomly through my garage and the garage door railings need more room to operate than I had measured. My shortest one is 14" and my longest is 22" from the ceiling.
Overall these helped a ton with organizing.

What kinds of things are you storing on these especially at 14" height in your case? Our garage ceilings are low (like 7-8') which I am not a big fan of but have to make due - I don't think I would want to extend one of these down to 22" but 14" might be the maximum I could do. And probably would be able to fit two of these side by side. But I think they would free up some space in the garage. Every little bit helps
