My thought exactly. No free shipping was wild. Should have priced the printer $40 higher to trick my dumb self.

Just ordered to save on shipping vs bambulab official site. This listing does not include the hub, only the buffer. You can see that when adding the bundle to your cart.

Seems like a better deal than Bambu site. Micro Center Westbury NY shows 6 in stock, so might be 5 if my order gets processed. Seems better than potentially waiting through the weekend for it to ship. But as previous comment says, it shows the hub as part of the combo but then at checkout it shows the buffer. NBD for me bc i was getting that originally, but just be aware.

EDIT: so my order through micro center was completed in 10 minutes but bambu will not cancel my order even though the tracking shows nothing has shipped since i ordered yesterday. theyre giving me the stated that i can refuse delivery but i will be charged shipping. so it is what it is, but if anyone else sees this and hasnt ordered through bambu, this deal is better.

If you live in Nassau county, I have a used K1 for $200, K1c for $300 and K1C Max for $400. Can throw in some filaments for free too.

That's unfortunate to hear. I started on Creality too (the Ender S1 Pro).

While I was thankful on getting to enter the world on a budget, the amount of learning and calibrating I had to do with that thing was PITA. Bambu has been outstanding despite some of their qualms with closed-source stuff (hasn't affected me yet).

FYI…this is the SAME price as Bambu Labs website. The 819 price includes the hub not the buffer only (which is what you are getting at Microcenter despite what the first pic shows) . Just want to make sure people are comparing apples to apples. That said, you save on shipping and the opportunity to buy the extended warranty through Microcenter to make it easier to get help should something break.

I paid over $1000 for this combo 2 months ago. Would purchase again in a heartbeat at $800

I wouldn't be surprised. This current sale they're running is a better sale than black friday (for the items that existed on black friday of course). If you've been thinking about a Bambu, now is the time to pull the trigger.

Yep, I was also soured on Creality and have a P1S now... it's a night and day difference.

Yeah it's funny the only thing I printed nearly flawlessly was the cat model on a vanilla 3v2. Then I started upgrading the dual axes, a different shroud, different screen, different hotend, etc, and I could never get it to print right. I'm sure it's probably some calibration issue I'm missing, but I just don't have the patience for it at this point. I've spent more time tinkering with it than printing. My understanding of the P1S is that it's the complete opposite and pretty much just works. I'm at a point in life that I'm willing to pay a premium for that to be able to print stuff I need.
