so the vacuum insulation is only when you are without electricity ? don't they stay plugged in all of the time.. whats the usecase for this keeping warm while unplugged? picnic?

I'm in 4 1. we had a Honeywell before that lasted about a year or so. it was great, but the dispenser stopped working and we got a refund. hopefully the fine Japanese engineering of the Zojirushi will make this worth the extra cost.
