I'm not in a hurry for this one but would love something quieter than my other impacts

Honestly, with the tariffs I've only seen price increases across the board for all tools, made in the US or not (probably the global materials part is causing problems).
If you need it now it's a solid price, but every prior sale has been before "Liberation Day" (April 2nd) tariffs so do what you will with that info.
With things potentially likely going off with Iran, I think things trend more, not less expensive.

One word of caution when you read the specs, you may be shocked at the maximum torque ratings of hydraulic impacts. This one is 500 in-lbs vs the DCF860 (non-hydraulic) at 2500 in-lbs. Yes, the maximum torque of the DCF860 is five times higher. The way a hydraulic impact driver works is to buffer the impact with the hydraulic fluid (oil), which reduces the peak impact. However, this buffering sustains the time of each impact, so you end up with less torque but for a longer impact. For that reason, taking the peak torque ratings at face value can be deceptive and real-world testing is the best way to assess the true utility of the tool.
