I bought one of these a few years ago for the regular price (which I think at the time was $220 or something like that). Truthfully, it held up much better than anticipated. I ended up giving it to a college kid after a couple of years but it was still in great condition after being used as the primary sofa for an adult, a child, the occasional bed for a guest, several dogs and a cat. It also cleaned up fairly easily. I thought it was worth it for the price back then so I'd say $108 is a steal for an entry level place to sit.

do you know how wide it is when it's laid flat? i'm curious about putting a mattress topper on it and using it for a kind of reading/day bed situation.. specs say 22" seat depth and seat back height 17.7" but not sure if that actually translates to 39.7" flat

Bought this several weeks ago, and was also impressed for the quality for price. The wood arms are solid, and the canvas material seems pretty durable. We have it in a spare bedroom, so it's not getting a ton of use - but good value for $$
