I have these. They are not multi-toed. They have that appearance, but on the inside they are like regular shoes. The soles are thin flexible rubber, so they are like toe shoes in that respect. The Velcro straps were about two inches too long and I ended up doubling it over and sewing with nylon thread so the Velcro would land correctly. After doing that, they are decent water shoes, but I'm not sure it's worth the trouble.

how much do these weigh? considering them for use on an upcoming west coast trail hike, which is 55 miles along the coast of vancouver island. would you like these at the end of the day of hiking or should i stick to sandals etc. walking around the beaches after hiking while setting up camp would be the use case

I'm female & have extra wide feet so I often buy men's shoes because they are wider. I have these. With an added cushioned insole, I walk city streets in these every day. These have no support, if you are looking for any.

I had already bought extra pairs as backup because I like them so much & I wear them out traipsing around on hot pavement.

I'm a 9 1/2 womens, 7 1/2 mens. With an added insole, the size 7 is a little snug, the size 8 is a little big, but I wear either size interchangeably.
