looks like a gen 1-1.5
T700 carbon fiber face. Questionable if thermoformed. No foam edge injection.

I see it briefly in the description but no where else. Not sure if that was just verbiage slammed in there or if it is true.

A generic paddle with these specs is about $25. I would not pay full price for this paddle. You can find other similar paddles on amazon or about $25 as well. You will notice more spin and pop with the paddle over the cheaper beginner fiberglass paddles.

If you are ready to step up from the beginner set, this is a good start.

PM me if you would like other paddle recommendations.

The video reviewers clearly have no clue what they are talking about.

Hi, sponsored pickleball player here. This paddle is still better than Walmart paddles. Highly recommend it. If you want power, go with the 13mm. If you want control, go with the 16mm. I've never played with a 20mm paddle. That seems like overkill.

Foam injection and thermoforming are both shown in the picture and listed the description. These would be defined as gen 2. You can still doubt it if you want, but it's probably better to trust the listing than skeptics on slickdeals… unless you cut it open and look at it. Doesn't really make it better or worse, but it's often recommended that beginners start with gen 1.

Looks like Gen 2 according to the description in the listing and images. Got one myself as I don't see any gen2 paddles around this price on amazon

Question to the poster , where did you find the 25$ off coupon ? I don't see it on the amazon listing. Just asking so that I can help the community in future !
