It's my "cc".
Not credit card, not concealed carry, but carry chainsaw.
In rural northeast Mississippi we get a lot of storms that leave limbs and small trees across the rural roads.
Carrying a chainsaw has gotten me through.

Thanks for this. Looks to be a brushless motor and some decent design changes. Still a great deal with a battery. I need a small chainsaw and I'll probably end up getting this, but the small chainsaw market is wild.
EDIT: my mistake they're both brushless. Seems to be a decent buy for the money! In for one!
I bet you only have one tree
I liked it a lot. I am back to using my Stihl gas powered unit... Electric is great because it is very quiet.
I want a bigger saw. I put a 14. Or 16 bar on this by Oregon and it works, but the 12 better. I put that bar on my Stihl and it is great... Smaller, but fast and smooth.
I would get the bigger DeWalt. I use a larger hart to cut a tree down and it was a nasty old palm tree. Ate it up. Used the DeWalt to cut little sago palms, pine and more.

It uses a gravity oiler, no pump. So it emits oil when used/stored "upright".
Store it on its side, with the oil cap facing up, it will not leak a drop.
