At 7:52 is when they start testing Amazon Basics
I'm at work now so I can't watch the video. Skimming through the comments, not many are talking about the Amazon Basics ones. How good are they?
They weren't the same but at the very least 80% as good. Surprisingly good material construction and performed 90% as well iirc. No brainer purchase at this price
The teeth on these inexpensive pliers will not last very long, while the Knipex will keep going strong for years. Project Farm did some destructive testing of this style of pliers and found the Knipex to hold up much better than the competition. Amazon Basics wasn't in the Project Farm test, but the hardness testing by TTC shows that these cheap Knipex copies from Amazon are pretty soft and won't last.
