Dell deal is better with the 10% off new subscriber code. if you have the Amex 100 off or 50 off offers, even cheaper. And it is back in stock at dell as well.

Are you clicking the link, adding it to the cart and then applying the code?

It does work. It just cancels out the tax, which is like ~$47 for me. So it ends up being $654 after tax

You would pay your state sales tax regardless of the coupon or not though??? You should only consider the price of the item, sales tax will always be there regardless of the coupons

If you don't pay attention, it makes the price look the same as before the discount essentially. So it's possible someone might think it "didn't work" when they still see $650+ as the final price. But yeah you're right

Is it safe to buy from Newegg nowaday? Couple of years ago, I heard complaints/scams from some customers.

The code doesn't work for me either, "Looks like that's the wrong code. Please double-check and try again."

I'm on mobile, the link opened the eBay app. Put it in the cart, clicked checkout, gift cards & codes & copy/paste the code. Worked.I'm not buying it though. I have disc based games & would have to spend another $80 for a disc drive. I got a PS5 slim with disc for $400 on Black Friday, could probably only get $350 for reselling it. Means I'm still out $400+ for this at this price with the disc drive.

It's not bad, not as good as Dell deal but getting better. Can't wait for deals on disc drives next.. $50 would be a good deal anything under $50 would be slick!

You obviously didn't understand what they were saying.

I did, I was just trying to explain why someone might get confused & think the code didn't work. The discount is almost the exact same amount as the taxes owed - but yeah you're paying taxes with or without the discount. Unless you're tax exempt you're always going to pay sales tax.
