These are amazing speakers. They also have a 3.5 mm aux, which is great if you have a Chromecast Audio.

Thanks OP, code worked for me for net price of $297.49 before tax. I did click a "Redeem" button before adding to cart, and then entered the OP's code in the checkout page, not sure what the Redeem button was for exactly--didn't want to mess around and risk losing the deal. I checked for the Redeem button again after placing the order, to see what it was for, and it is no longer there. Speakers arriving in two days : ) I hope I like it. There were some mixed reviews on it when I did a lot of looking and I've been watching its price for a couple of months, didn't expect to see a price near this good until around Black Friday.

Edit: at $297.49 it's 45.8% off list price of $549. I just noticed this is the higher price Bluetooth version. I actually prefer the non-Bluetooth version for my use case but this would be a great price even for the non-Bluetooth version. I think I saw a couple of months ago somewhere that says the Bluetooth signal is always on even when other inputs are selected, which would be a negative to me.

i did research on the best 4-6 inch powered studio monitors awhile back, and these made it into the final 3-4. And I'm pretty thorough when I do my research. I can't remember why I ended up with the Kantos, but probably because I saw a deal on them.

I love my A2+ computer speakers, going on like 5 years now.

I want to buy this but they're a little overkill for desktop and without an optical input it seems not ideal for use with a TV, unless there's some other good way to connect?

HD6 has optical input.
