Out of stock almost everywhere but call individual stores and see if they have it.
The online availability seems to be inaccurate, as I got it at a location that did not show it in stock on site.

256GB is $35.88 also if 512 is too much/not needed:

Why wouldn't you buy a SanDisk from Amazon for way less?
thats not microSD express , which is required for switch2 and much faster read write than a regular microSD.

The sandisk 256gb express is $71.99 currently and was $59.99 at launch.

This is not the same kind of card you are thinking of. I don't know the quality of Onn memory devices but this is the MicroSD express version.

IMO if mostly going switch 2 exclusive games + physical, internal 256gb should be fine.

If getting a bunch of third party game key cards / digital / or carrying over digital collection from switch 1 , I think a microsd express card in some form is a must.

Some are waiting for more options, or lower prices, but availability has been sparse on these card types so far and never know with tariff and economic variables. Even if that were the case, over the span of the console lifecycle, I imagine prices will drop. But these are pretty cheap for what they are

Thanks for posting! Only option i've seen for the Express cards has been the $72 for the 256 gb san disk one. Sadly this one is out of stock and not available nearby

Vast majority of big 3rd party games are going to be fake cartridges where you still have to download the game
256 is going to be worse than the 32gb on the SWITCH 1

I feel like I should try to get this, as it's the best price we'll see for the storage... but I have no idea who Walmart uses for their flash memory provider.
Given only three companies are currently making Express cards, I'm really curious about this...

That price is incredible for what you are getting. Jump on it if you can.

A store about an hour from me had some for most of the day yesterday. So I was able to have one delivered (from that store) to a family members house who lives close to that store.

So if you can't make it to any of the stores to check in person, keep checking the app cause I've seen a few other stores that didn't have stock, randomly have some the past few days

Weird people are buying this assuming it'll be hard to get at launch. I don't know why
