You will have to vent the hot air out through window. Also single hose creates a vacuum which draws more hot air from outside of the room. It's pretty useless

Super pro tip: Turn on your central ac fans to mimic a dual hose portable ac design. This is because while this unit sucks air from outside the room (negative pressure), the central ac fans will bring in air from outside the room (positive pressure).
