Cannot recommend this monitor at all after my experience. Sure, it's nice with great picture but mine has a flickering problem. It will randomly go black for 1-3 seconds while playing videos on YouTube or video games even. Seems to be a common problem. I've been fighting with customer service for 1.5 months. They sent 2 poorly refurbished models, 1 died in less than a day of use and the other was in bad shape when it arrived. Either they aren't refurbishing them properly or they are just shipping returned units back out. They are now refusing my request to replace it with a new monitor. After my experience with their customer service, I will not buy Dell again.

I picked this monitor up back in March. After using an 11% CB offer from capital one shopping it brought the cost down.

Pros: extremely adjustable in tilt and height using the stand it comes with. Multiple HDMI inputs and digital port. OLED looks great with game consoles, movie playback in certain games. The Windows 11 desktop does look good proportionally on this monitor.

Cons: this monitor has a glossy screen. Works incredibly well in a very dark or dimly lit room. Perhaps not the best choice for office or production use. Better for games. However, it does have display settings controls and user custom presets. So I'm not saying it's impossible to use it for anything but games.

I use mine in a dimly lit room with some natural sunlight. It is a different noticeable experience compared to having a flat no gloss screen.

People I know that had this and recommended it said they really just used it as a gaming monitor only.

I used a 34" ultra wide, i had to turn my head. I had to go back to my 27". I think 32" would be a little too large for me.

Not sure why you'd think this wouldn't be great for office use. It's great at all.

Tried this monitor out with a 5080, made full use of the card and fps, probably the nicest screen I've ever used besides the lg oled.

I have this monitor and use it with my 5090. It's beautiful running almost every game 200+ fps.

I've had this monitor since release and love it. One big note though is that it has no audio output other than HDMI ARC, which would use up one of its two HDMI ports. Also just to be blunt, the arc feature is pretty broken. If you change inputs while using it, it causes everything to freeze for a couple seconds before it becomes usable again. The end I ended up just doing aux out of my computer to my speakers and for my PS5 which is plugged into the monitor I have to use headphones.

The gloss screen is a pro. Matte is nasty.

I'd like to see Monster Hunter Wilds at Native 4k without DLSS and without FrameGen. I cannot find a true benchmark that isn't their crappy cutscene benchmark anywhere online without those things turned on.

This is my biggest fear. Sorry that happened. I would cut your losses and sell it. I'm waiting on an oled that has perfect text clarity and zero vrr flicker.

Like I said in the earlier deal thread, 30 days now and still no CB notification from the CB site. Also, the monitor makes popping sounds when turning on and it goes away in like 10mintues, which means it's heat causing it. The model is known for getting microscratches, as well, and the curve is somewhat annoying. Only reason i am considering keeping it is because most monitors hurt my head and this one doesn't hurt it as much. I am right at 30 days so today is the last day to decide what to get.

The 27 inch asus exclusive one a best buy looked much, much more impressive. Many videos had a stunning image and many on the alienware are not impressing me. I would look for a 27 that is ok for my head, but most of those are not calibrated well. only the asus is.
