Found SMF to SAN for $94 rt, that's $4 better than the normal $49 OW sale fares. Vegas flights are $124. As has been customary the last couple years, you're probably only going to see savings on their busiest nonstop routes on the normal sale travel days. SMF to BNA isn't bad when it's under $200 RT, which it is on select days.
I didn't search other originations, but I'm sure they're there for routes that fit within the parameters above. But if you're looking for certain days on specific routes, espcially infrequent routes/destinations, you're not going to see savings.
