A vertical curved monitor? Are you insane?

If the ressolution were better it isn't a bad idea, as the lower portion of the monitor in that mode sits about an inch off the desk and it is designed for a more relaxed position.

We bought 2 of these on the last Samsung sale (paid about $1200 each), and honestly it is okay, but I wish it were 48" and I wish Samsung didn't stop you from running the thing as dual wide screen displays.

What was your reason for returning, if you don't mind me asking?

I was coming from an LG C2 42" which was brighter and clearer. The display was relatively dim and the matte coating was too aggressive to the point that white screens and bright images appear fuzzy.

I own one of these currently and it's a fantastic Monitor but a couple of warnings to note: a lot of these come broken right out the box! The amount of curvature with these being delivered in freight is scary. I had to return the first one for this issue, secondly there's a feature called ESB that you need to put on your computer to make the mouse and keyboard work with the TV; that is the most backwards incompatible app ever and there's a ton of problems with that software. I still can't get it to work properly, where once upon a time it was flawless, until they updated the system. - my conscious is clean I said my warnings!

My 2 cents, please take into account this is a beast. Like 60 or 90 pounds with the stand.

The whole room will need to be restructured around this.

Everything else is fine. Just that it's massive (space wise) and crazy heavy.

Why did you return it? I have the 39" LG w-oled and it is better than Asus ROG version.

I just bought this on Samsung through Perks At Work, employer discount. Samsung gave an additional 5% off via chat. My total was $1616, tax included. Comes with the M70D 32" monitor. I live in FL so I couldn't get the warranty extension for $1 but may buy the extended if I keep the ark. I'll get about $150 back in Perks At Work Wow points and an additional 5% off when combining Rak and credit card rewards. If I can sell the M70 monitor for around $300, the total with all discounts is about $1,100. Might have been able to save a bit more if I waited till 4th of July sale.

Doesn't the software let you do that?

Aside from the more obvious features, buyers should know that this monitor uses proprietary cables and a specific Samsung remote control. The cables can be expensive to replace now, and could be impossible to replace in the future. If your remote control breaks, and Samsung no longer sells them, you will lose many of the features of this monitor. There are no ports on the stand of the monitor, so you cannot plug HDMI or Diplay Port cables directly into the monitor. You plug everything into a breakout box which is connected to the monitor by a Samsung One Connect cable, similar to their The Frame product.
