Heinz is sweetened with high fructose corn syrup unless you buy organic heinz ketchup but if you prefer the flavor buy what you like. Heinz is noticeably thinner and stronger vinegar and less tomato flavor.
I used to have the same attitude, but have had good ketchups (including certain Heinz types) without HFCS and it's a night and day difference. SO much better. Life is too short to drink cheap beer and corn syrupy foods.

Respectfully gotta be Heinz only.

When the Hunt's brand WAS thicker and richer 2-3 years ago, i preferred this over Heinz or Wal-Mart's Ketchup but they dropped claim from the bottle as well as the formula in the last year or so. It is no longer thicker and richer and went to a more fancy ketchup consistency which is not bad but definitely not the same as it was.

Aww, did they change it? I don't buy ketchup that often but the "Best Ever", which is now just their 100% natural, was by far my favorite.

In for one, all these Heinz people haven't looked at a label lately nor the company/family that makes it

Heinz Simply is very good but so is the organic Ketchup at Aldi (No HFCS).

Hunts says they are thicker but the last time i tried it was not better IMO and still tasted off.
The Aldi Organic one seems to hit the spot for flavor, thickness, and no HFCS as well for a good price.

I used to buy Heinz, but this Hunts is better. At this price try it before you say Heinz only.

I switched to Hunt's years ago for its more appealing tomato flavor. I see that McDonald's no longer uses Heinz. But their change doesn't seem to have been taste-based. As in other things, use what you actually like best.
