Ghosts have been my go-to running shoe for a lot of years. I've run in several other brands, but it seems like I always come back to ghosts. (Recognizing that everyone's foots is different, no single brand will be best for everyone, etc). But these have been really good for me.

I'm wearing the 14 now. Paid like 50 for them at Ross last year. I love them. I've worn them more than any of my other shoes since buying them.
With that being said, I went up a half size in them. I own an 11.5 in them as well. The 11.5 fits, but I feel like my toes are slightly on top of the insole of that makes sense. So I'm asking if there's anyone that owns both and can chime in. Would you go up a half size on the 16s? I'm not a runner but I'm on my feet a lot and they really do ease my plantar fasciitis so I'm willing to pay more than I did for the 14s.

I was really disappointed with the 16s. I've been wearing Ghosts since at least the 12s, maybe earlier. The 16 felt like there was a vice grip squeezing on the sides of my feet. Took them off and will return them after just one walk. And this is with ordering the exact same 9.5 2E that I have been getting since the beginning

Also got a pair of 17s (both during the recent REI sale). Not really happy with them either but they're better than the 16s. Not sure why Brooks has to keep messing with a good show and inevitably making it worse
