Imperial only, bummer.
Wera is among the best tool manufacturers in existence today. Their prices are well worth the quality, though I'm not a fan of some of their cost reduction practices. The brand has much more pedigree than LTT (infinite in the tool world) and has a strong reputation for innovation and engineering.

And as the other reply mentioned, this comes with a ratcheting screw driver AND a complete toolset with a mini ratchet and mini screwdriver. That alone often goes for more than this deal.

I also wish this was metric. This seems like a nice set.

I'd rather buy the LTT screw driver at this price point myself.
You'd rather buy a screw driver with only 12 bits and not have an extra screw driver, an additional 33 bits, nor a ratchet with sockets either? cool story.

these use to be $23 bucks over 5yrs ago, good thing everyone I know makes over 3x more than they did over 5yrs ago...
I doubt the Tool-Check and the screwdriver were ever $23 together. CCC says the tool check was $40ish once in 2017, and the screwdriver has been as low as $28, so this price is about the same as those deals on Amazon.
i've been eyeing the screwdriver and it goes for ~30, so I see this as getting the tool check for ~45.

I'm new to owning tools and want to know more. Imperial vs metric is more of where you live right? Like if I live in the US, I would want to have an imperial set?

Depends on what you will be working on. If you have an european car for example you need metric. Imperial if you have a US car. Most tool kits or sets have both imperial and metric because you never know what you will be using it for.

The LTT design was manufactured by Megapro under close consultation. That's sufficient manufacturing pedigree. I would buy one except for the reversed directional switch.

I have Wera, Megapro, Klein, Gedore, and PBSwiss ratcheting screwdrivers, and the collar directional switches all go in the same direction.

The logic of this universal design is that if you don't know what position the switch is starting in, you just grip the collar and start turning. It also won't unintentionally reverse the direction on you if it rubs against something.

LTT really biffed that detail.

I own both, and putting aside that while the LTT driver is nice, and it's not like the Wera is crap... these are not the same product.
This listing is basically buying the toolbag/backpack kit, while getting the additional larger handle for free. Seems like a perfectly reasonable deal if you're in the market.

Even then most US cars are now a mix of both if not metric. Imperial sizes are getting rare. And for a lot of stuff you can get away with using a conversion chart if the fasteners aren't tight tolerance, high torque, or seized up. In which case you wouldn't want to use a set like this anyway.
