Wow, TP-Link going in hard with pricing here. New product that's not on Amazon yet. If you don't mind TP-Link being Chinese, this looks like a great buy.

There's a version at Amazon & Best Buy called the DL100 has it's $59.99. They did a whole press release for the DL100: https://www.businesswire.com/news...rice-Point but nothing for the Walmart version and I can't really see if these are any different other than the model number. They both appear to be a stripped down version of the DL110. Basically they removed the fingerprint reader and integrated doorbell, went to standard AA batteries instead of rechargeable, lowered the weatherproofing to IP54, and replaced the matte keypad with physical rubber buttons. There might be more differences as to how it handles security and PIN assignment, but I could not find details on how that works on these new units.

I have been using their routers for over a decade. I recently got their doorbell. App is great and video feed starts super fast. I'm probably going to buy this smart deadbolt now. Trying to find a reason not to buy it…

Vietnam is the county listed on the product, not sure if the final assembly is done there with china parts.
China to Vietnam happened when there was rumor that they will also be banned from US like other china made network products.

Sorry the move out of china was in the works in 2018, well before the ban was even suggested in 2023/2024.

Wifi on a door seems as important as having wifi on my refrigerator and stove.

I worked in Sunnyvale and then Mountain View for 7 years which was until very recently, and honestly it's not even close.
