Seems like a nice deal, but I think personally I'd grab something a tad larger (maybe 6 qt), and I'm not so sure about the tall sides it looks like this has. Still, I'm sure it would be a great option for many and it's a nice price

Yep. 6 qt and 8 qt are the most common sizes. And this one does look especially tall. A wider bottom would give more space for browning or sautéing, which are frequent steps in DO cooking. This particular DO does not seem to be very well designed, TBH.

Yeah they license the brand. Oster is also licensed. Crock Pot makes Crock Pots. I have one of these Dutch Ovens, its good. I dont think it will last as long as la Creuset but it was $40.
