I went down the bitholder rabbit hole, watching all the videos. I bought the top four, paying full price so I could compare. This is my favorite. The only issue is the diameter is too large for some jobs. I bought 2 spare at this price. Thanks OP!

My story is the same as yours. Wera is generally the best price to quality to design ratio tool brand in my opinion. There is an argument for some slightly longer lasting tools for less, but not as intelligently designed. It really is the sweet spot for me. I work in industrial environments and they have held up great for me.

Waiting for Wera to release the rapidaptor zyklop adapter because boy howdy, do I love rapidaptor. Their current zyklop/socket bit adapter works just like any other bitholders with a retaining sleeve, you have to pull and keep pulling to release or put in a new bit.

Btw you can get this rapidaptor from other Wera products. It'll note that it includes the 889/4/1 Rapidaptor. I got mine bundled with the Tool Check Plus for $60.
