Better deal on Walmart. https://www.walmart.com/ip/219749...6b09cfBeen buying for our 60+ pound pit mix for years and he has beautiful teeth and nice breath.

How is it a better deal when it's over double the price? Is it double the size/weight?

Walmart:

$27.45 for 14 oz piece (before taxes/shipping) = $1.96 / oz

Amazon:

$10.65 for 5.5 oz piece (with discounts, before taxes (no shipping cost for me)) = $1.93 / oz

The bigger bone will last longer in my experience. If it's just a dollar thing for you, save the 3 cents per ounce. I look for quality.

You're right, not sure why you're being down voted. The vet told me before the surgery that it was likely the bones/antlers they were chewing, and said to go only for VOHC certified products moving forward.

Nice price if you've got a big chewer at home! Just a heads up though—some folks say these can splinter depending on the dog, so might wanna supervise the first few times. Anyone know how this Wag brand compares to the ones from Petco or Chewy?

I agree. I used to give my husky yak chews but after hearing him break them up I said nope. Not worth risking some huge vet bill.

Same goes for giving dogs any other bones. My IL's are the "old country" type where "in the old country" dogs were basically garbage disposals and ate all sorts of bones. Sorry not for mine. Even if the risk is low, it's not worth giving the dog something that's potentially going to cost thousands in vet bills or kill him.

Depends. Have you carved a moth into the neck first?
