The bowl works, but you will remember it from the battle it takes to remove the adhesive glue/tape due to packaging. (Read the reviews on Chewy and Amazon for similar experiences)

It's also available for the same price at Kohl's

Unless you have a goat that eats the slow feeder too. My pit-lab mix eats ANYthing.

These feeders work. My chocolate lab doesn't breath while she eating, just buries her head in food. I tried the pinwheel design first, but she got good at following the track with her tongue and it created the same issue. I use the flower petal shaped one now, and it works great. She has to stop to look at the dish to figure out where to stick her tongue in. The one I have is full plastic, with no removable insert. Cleaning is easy with a brush. This one with the removable insert seems preferable imo.
